"Grassroots was born just as the name suggests, from the ground up. I moved to Colorado in 2013, leaving behind seasonal farm hand positions in MN to pursue working for the National Park Service at Mesa Verde National Park. After two seasons in the Southwest part of the state, I moved to Denver to work for the grounds department at CU Boulder. While working there I began to apprentice under my roommate who was a Master HVAC Technician.
   In HVAC I found my calling and pursued all the work I could handle. After 7 years of apprenticing I started to acquire my certifications and licensing. Throughout this time I also switched positions at CU from a groundskeeper, to joining the preventative maintenance shop at CU where I completed an extensive boiler and chiller program.
   In the Fall of 2021, I knew It was time to go out on my own and start delivering small town service in the city of Denver. We are pleased to be a part of this city and even more excited to deliver what we promise."
